think about it

There is a desire within each of us, in the deep center of ourselves that we call our heart. We were born with it, it is never completely satisfied, and it never dies. We are often unaware of it, but it is always awake…. Our true identity, our reason for being, is to be found in this desire. — Gerald May

Solomon’s temple

Here is a drawing of Solomon’s temple. I find it helpful to see an artist rendering as I read the description of it’s construction [1 Kings 6].

I was amazed at how big the temple was – compared to the size of the people!
    I had no idea.
    I find it intimidating!
I can’t comprehend what it was like then for people in their relationship with God. I don’t undesrstand the way God did things then. Of course, as a woman I would not have seen this part would I?

I am glad that God dwells within each of us now and we are all rsponsible for our own relationships with Him (and to encourage each other in it to of course)
