I am reminded of the song,

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.
Mold me and make me after Thy will,
While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Search me and try me, Master, today!
Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,
As in Thy presence humbly I bow.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!
Power, all power, surely is Thine!
Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!
Hold o’er my being absolute sway!
Fill with Thy Spirit ’till all shall see
Christ only, always, living in me.

But all to often, I do not start with the Lord. As I go about my busyness, the Lord's presence comes as an after thought. I go my own way until . . . He shows me, reminds me of His presence. That presence I need every hour. That presence needs to be my kickstart of the day, fuel for the day and rest for my soul at night. I need to live for Him in all I do and not as an after thought. God continues to bail His people out. I need to put/place Him first. I must talk and walk daily with my God as a child delights in his father, so I must delight in my Father and cast all my cares on Him. He will guide me along the Way.

Thank You Lord, for You are an awesome God!

Our God is an awesome God
He reigns from heaven above
With wisdom, power, and love
Our God is an awesome God
