		<description>Thanks for the reflection Norm, a nice followup to the message yesterday. It&#039;s a good reminder about where I really want my focus to be - too often &quot;I&quot; come first and then if I have time I&#039;ll think about others. I have been reading a biography about St. Fransis of Assisi, if even half of what is written is true he was truly a remarkable man. Upon his conversion he determined to live a life of poverty, his father became so enraged and wanted him to come back home (along with his money that Francis had and was going to use to help rebuild a church). When he was dragged in front of the priest, Francis gave back any money that might belong to his father and stripped himself naked in front of everyone!! He wanted everyone to see that he wanted nothing for his own gain - upon seeing this his father agreed to leave him to his new life - someone gave him a rough bit of cloth and a rope to tie around his waist and that became his new attire. He was a pretty dedicated guy to say the least!

		<description>Self serving?

God serving?

Those who are all wrapped up in themselves make very small presents/packages. Haman was wrapped up in himself.

And what does the Lord God require of you? Serve Him! Love Him! Do His will each day.

My focus must be doing His will and not my own.  I am not my own but belong to God my Saviour.  That must be evident in all I do and say.  Whose I am comes through loudly and clearly by what I do.  I like the title of Ortberg&#039;s new book, &#039;ME, the me I want you to be - becoming God&#039;s best version of you.&#039;

Help me Lord in my/your way.

All for Jesus, all for Jesus!
All my being’s ransomed powers:
All my thoughts and words and doings,
All my days and all my hours.
Refrain

All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
All my days and all my hours;
All for Jesus! All for Jesus!
All my days and all my hours.

Let my hands perform His bidding,
Let my feet run in His ways;
Let my eyes see Jesus only,
Let my lips speak forth His praise.

Refrain

Worldlings prize their gems of beauty,
Cling to gilded toys of dust,
Boast of wealth and fame and pleasure;
Only Jesus will I trust.

Refrain

Since my eyes were fixed on Jesus,
I’ve lost sight of all beside;
So enchained my spirit’s vision,
Looking at the Crucified.

Refrain

Oh, what wonder! how amazing!
Jesus, glorious King of kings,
Deigns to call me His belovèd,
Lets me rest beneath His wings.
