We live in Ajax, Onatrio, where I am serving as a missionary pastor to Crossroads, a Christian Reformed Church Plant. Prior to that we served in Port Perry from 1998 to 2008, and in Charlottetown, PEI from 1993-1998. I am originally from Hamilton and Valerie comes from Orono, so we have enjoyed being close to family and friends.

Timothy is at home again, and is working at Lennox Drum until next September when he hopes to go to College. Nathan is in grade 12 at Durham Christian High in Bowmanville, and is planning to do a one year internship with Urban Promise in Toronto. Janelle is in grade 9 at Durham, and is enjoying it.

Valerie has been blessed to work with 3 other ladies in a painting business, and although they have been very busy, it has been a tremendous opportunity for work within school hours.

We are into our second year in Ajax. We recently relocated to downtown Ajax at the Bolton C. Falby public school, and are now praying for the Lord to direct our work there. We are looking for ways to be more involved in the downtown community, possibly relocating our ministry center in a downtown plaza.

My personal “mission statement” has been to have a personal, life-changing relationship with the Lord, and to help others have the same. My passion is to see the church revitalized, to see believers released in the joy and power of our new life in Christ, and to help those who do not know Jesus discover the difference He can make in their lives, both for now and for eternity.
